    About

    I am an assistant professor at University of Central Oklahoma. I obtained my Ph.D. degree in the department of computer science and engineering at University of South Carolina.

    My main research interest is Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence. I am also active in the computing education research community and have been involved in organizing multiple conferences under ACM SIGCSE and SIGCITE. I additionally serve on the editorial boards of four academic journals.

    • Successfully organized 3rd International Workshop on Edge Intelligence and Vehicular Networks in conjunction with IEEE MASS'26 in Hong Kong, China, Oct. 2026.
    • Attended Oklahoma City Cybersecurity Conference, a FutureCon event, which was held in Oklahoma City, OK (Sep. 3, 2026).
    • Travel funding from Expanding CISE Research Capacity Across EPSCoR Jurisdictions, a special session alongside the 2026 CRA Summit, in Prior Lake, MN (Jul. 21-23, 2026).
    • Visited Lake Charles, Louisiana, and attended 37th annual CCSC South Central conference (Apr. 24, 2026).
    • Visited Springfield, Missouri, and attended 32nd annual CCSC Central Plains conference (Apr. 10-11, 2026).
    • Travel award from NSF CISE Research Expansion Aspiring PI Workshop, which was held in Miami, FL (Dec. 18-19, 2025).
    • Successfully organized 26th ACM SIGCITE annual conference as a steering committee member, in Sacramento, CA (Nov. 6-8, 2025).
    • Successfully organized 2nd International Workshop on Edge Intelligence and Vehicular Networks in conjunction with IEEE MASS'25 in Chicago, US, Oct. 2025.
    • Received the RCSA travel grant from UCO for conference participations, Sep. 2025.
    • Visited Flagstaff, Arizona, and presented our work at 33rd annual CCSC Rocky Mountain Conference (Oct. 18-19, 2024).
